How it all Started...
When I stepped-out of a long banking career, due to the adventures of multiple
sclerosis, I decided to start making cards and journals to donate to places where I'd once donated money. To my surprise, people started contacting me to buy Cheap Therapy.
Even though my handcrafted paper art is now in galleries and shops across the US, I still consider this a very small business. Because of the way my body limits my energy, I work hard at finding and maintaining a healthy balance. So, I create each piece of my paper art in my home studio.
I divide at least 90% of all profits from Cheap Therapy between several charities that are dear to me. Some of these charities are the Cheap Therapy Pay it Forward Grant, Habitat for Humanity, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS), the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund (to specifically aid natural disaster victims), the National Honor Society and the Brownies (I was kicked-out of these last two, so they hold a SPECIAL place in my heart).
I love to imagine who'll end up with each piece of Cheap Therapy. I hope you'll be one of those people soon.
In the meantime, I send you all that is good.
